BART on Board for ELERTS Transit™

ELERTS welcomes San Francisco’s Bay Area Rapid Transit system (BART) into its roster of transit app users, including Atlanta, Boston, Buffalo/Niagara, and Santa Clara.

The ELERTS Transit™ app allows riders to report suspicious situations directly to transit police by using their smartphones. This app automatically disables the phone camera flash so photos can be submitted discreetly. GPS mapping is used to improve accuracy for response and Chat opens a two-way channel of communication.

This app supports the national “See Something, Say Something” safety campaign that empowers riders and assists First Responders by providing “eyes on the ground.”
