VTAlerts is a smartphone app, powered by ELERTS, that enables transit riders to report suspicious or criminal activities to Transit Security, literally, at the touch of a button.

During the Boston Marathon, our Chief Architect Tim Bryan was just outside of Copley Square in Boston when the two bombs went off. Unable to place phone calls and having poor SMS service, he successfully submitted a text-only report through our app. This proved that the best chance to get a message out is via the data network.
